As part of Eminent Persons Lecture Programme of BIISS Mr. Nurul Islam Nahid, MP, Hon'ble Minister, Ministry of Education, Government of the Peoples Republic of Bangladesh delivered a lecture on Education in Bangladesh: Present State, Challenges and Future Outlook at BIISS Auditorium on 21 September 2010 at 1100 hours The lecture was followed by a lively question and answer session in which there were active participation by academia, media, government officials, diplomats, business circles, representatives from the civil society and other concerned professionals including experts and practitioners on the related field. Major General Golam Mohammad, nwc, psc, Director General of BIISS delivered the Address of Welcome and Major General Muhammed Firdaus Mian, psc, Chairman, Board of Governors, BIISS chaired the session.
